Our Story...
Ever since I met my fiancée, I've wanted to make our time together feel truly special and full of magic.
When it came time to propose, I came up with a plan that felt perfectly "us": I carefully hid the engagement ring inside an uncracked geode, knowing how much we both love rockhounding.
To keep it a complete surprise, I slipped the geode into my backpack that morning and carried it the whole way. My heart was pounding with excitement. When she got distracted looking at some other rocks, I quickly tucked it into the gravel so it looked like it had always been there.
As we kept exploring on one of our favorite rockhounding trips, she suddenly spotted it and lit up with excitement over her "discovery." She carefully cracked it open, and when the ring appeared sparkling among the crystals, her eyes went wide and filled with happy tears. Her hands shook a little as she picked it up, and she told me—voice soft and emotional—how incredibly thoughtful and perfect it was, how it captured everything she loved about us and our adventures together. Right there in the quiet outdoors, she pulled me into the warmest hug and whispered "yes."
